Infinity Nikki 2.5: Boneyard, Soul Ocarina, and Two Very Fancy Outfits
Infinity Nikki 2.5 closes Itzaland with the Boneyard, Soul Ocarina, and 5-Star outfits—plus competitive fashion judging.
Infinity Nikki 2.5 has landed with the kind of thud that suggests somebody dropped an entire region on the floor and then casually walked away. The Itzaland arc, which has been running for roughly six months, finally closes its curtains here — and it does not go quietly. A brand-new area, a story-critical musical instrument, two 5-Star Ability Outfits, and the game's first taste of competitive fashion judging all show up at the same party. Players who wandered off after the 2.0 anniversary update have a small mountain to climb, and the mountain is wearing a very nice dress.

The Story Finally Says Goodbye to Itzaland
Chapters 6 and 7 close out Nikki's time in the region, and they are emphatically not optional reading. Most of the 2.5 limited-time events sit behind a completed main story, largely because the mechanics those chapters introduce — the Soul Ocarina in particular — are the entry ticket. A player who skips ahead will find a lot of locked doors and a lot of NPCs politely refusing to acknowledge their existence.
Alongside the main chapters comes Flourish of Life, a permanent quest series that includes world quests such as Whispers on the Wind. Running separately is the Tales of Itzaland II event storyline, which spreads five chapters across multiple days and hands out the 4-Star Verdant Chord outfit as the final prize.

The Boneyard Is Not Really a Graveyard
The headline new area is the Boneyard, and it suits the update's Where All Souls Return theme rather well. It is less a graveyard and more a spiritual transit hub — a waiting room for reincarnation, staffed by the Parksolians, humanoid creatures with dragon-like features who work as ferrymen. The tone is mournful rather than grim, which makes it stand apart from anything in Heartcraft Kingdom.
Gameplay-wise, the zone is a farming playground. The main target is Crystals of Blessing, which trade for Diamonds and Resonite Crystals, plus crafting materials for Blueprints (Clothing Sketches: Ancient Remnants).
The hazard worth respecting is the Windbones — giant boulders that flatten Nikki on contact and reset her dungeon progress in Hollowbreath Passage. Breaking them requires the Dragon Bone Master Ability Outfit, also known as Luster Covenant, which unlocks shortly after first entering the area. Charging into Hollowbreath Passage without it is a genuinely efficient way to waste an afternoon.
⚠️ Warning: Windbones reset progress in Hollowbreath Passage. Equip Luster Covenant before entering.
The Soul Realm is not a separate map so much as a layer sitting on top of the Boneyard. Reaching it requires the Soul Ocarina, picked up during the new chapters. The instrument lets Nikki heal characters and guide spirits toward rebirth, both tied to specific quests and limited-time events. Without it, certain NPC interactions simply do not exist.

Two 5-Stars, One Genuine Dilemma
Ability Outfits in Infinity Nikki do double duty: they define Nikki's look and hand her functional skills for traversal and combat. Version 2.5 adds two 5-Stars to limited banners, plus the free story-reward Luster Covenant.
| Outfit | Main Attribute | Ability | Paired 4-Star |
|---|---|---|---|
| Floral Rebirth | Fresh | Bloomlight Shadowcatcher — captures multiple insects with wider swipes | Evergreen Vow (summons a warhorse for photos) |
| Guide of No Return | Sexy | Guiding Star: Archery — aerial stance and multi-target arrows | Heartward Hues (interactive flame effect) |
| Luster Covenant | Free / story | Dragon Bone Master — smashes Windbones | — |
| Verdant Chord | 4-Star | Tales of Itzaland II reward | — |
Neither paid outfit gates the story or the Boneyard. Everything strictly necessary arrives through free crafting. Guide of No Return builds directly on the archery ability from 2.0, upgrading the free Purifying Wind outfit from single shots to multi-target volleys and a hovering stance. It is not true flight, but it is a meaningful jump in firepower.

Resonance Crystals are limited, so this is a real decision. Insect farmers lean Floral Rebirth; combat enjoyers lean Guide of No Return. Anyone truly torn should just pick whichever 4-Star outfit looks better, because that is the part they will actually stare at.
Competitive Fashion Has Entered the Chat
The Starlight Contest is a recurring competition where players submit outfits around a rotating theme, then vote on each other's work. Top-ranked players earn Diamonds and Upgrade Packs. It is PvP in the way that a village baking contest is PvP — technically yes, emotionally also yes.
Events and a Sensible Play Order
The 2.5 event slate ties tightly to the Boneyard and Soul Realm. The login event is the easy win: seven days within the window (not consecutive) yields 10 Revelation Crystals. Tales of Itzaland II unlocks its chapters across multiple days, so planning around those windows matters.

A sensible order for returning players:
-
Finish Itzaland Chapters 6 and 7 for the Soul Ocarina and Boneyard access.
-
Grab the free Luster Covenant early — Windbones demand it.
-
Start Tales of Itzaland II chapters as they unlock for Verdant Chord.
-
Farm Hollowbreath Passage for Crystals of Blessing.
-
Decide on the banner pull based on playstyle, then save.
It is a dense update, but a well-ordered one. Nikki has a graveyard to run, spirits to guide, and a wardrobe to defend. Priorities, as ever, are everything. 💀🎶👗
